Our People


There would be no churches, no associations, no conferences, no United Church of Christ without the people.

There is probably no more important support we provide than that we provide at end of life. Learn the options in New York State and how they relate the UCC's promise of death as not our end but a new beginning.

Christhava Tamil Koil, UCC, in Middle Village hosted the lively 131st Annual Meeting of the Metro Association on Saturday, April 26, 2008. Here are some of the people who participated.

Christhava Tamil Koil gave an award of appreciation to Louise Manigault, Metro Executive Administrator. We learned how several churches in the Metro Association have already provided sanctuary and support for immigrants threatened with deportation.

Ruby Solomon Families of the Chnristhava Koil congregation honored loved ones with tablets which will be part of the new arch.

Ruby Solomon led us in “A Psalm for Today” which ended with “May this church act justly, love tenderly, walk humbly with you, and reflect your love and light for all creation.”
