Return to top of page State Youth EventFriday - Sunday, March 9 - 11, 2012 This weekend is planned by and for high school students in New York Conference UCC churches. Registration is now open on www.uccny.org and will close on February 17. Click on Upcoming Events at the top right of the home page, then scroll down to Youth Event registration. Return to top of page Boundary Awareness TrainingMonday, May 21, 2012 Emanuel United Church of Christ Boundary Awareness training (or its approved equivalent) is required to enter authorized ministry in the Metro Association. To maintain standing, it must be taken again every five years, or less. The current curriculum includes the Safe Church Policy. Registration forms will be available as the date nears. Return to top of page UCC National Youth Event Tuesday - Friday, July 10 - 13, 2012 Every four years about 3,000 youth gather for four days of worship, workshops, faith, fun and fellowship. Cost is $425 per person for double occupancy, $500 per person for single occupancy. All participants must be part of a group. Return to top of page New York Conference Family WeekendFriday - Sunday, July 20-22, 2012 Registration Deadline is Monday, February 6!!!If you crave the Silver Bay experience even though the New York Conference annual meeting is elsewhere this year, join us for the Family Weekend at Silver Bay! From Friday evening July 20 to Sunday noon July 22, we will enjoy the swimming, boating, hiking, and general joy of the place. Walk the labyrinth, take a swim, sit on the point. We'll include star gazing and a campfire and vespers; Sunday morning we'll worship with the Silver Bay community. No agenda, no business, perhaps a crafts session or two and some gathering for prayers. Bring family members and show them how relaxing it is to sit on the verandah of the Inn and rock!
