UCC Church Building and Loan Fund
The UCC Church Building and Loan Fund focuses on helping new (less than thirty years old) and renewing congregations. Its services include loan programs, capital campaign services, building planning and building technical assistance. The resources on its web site are available to all, regardless of the age of the church.
The Cornerstone Fund operates much like a bank – allowing individuals, churches and organizations affiliated with the UCC to invest in flexible demand or term notes at favorable rates. It makes loans to UCC churches thirty or more years old who want to expand and address the range of building maintenance needs – from straight-forward repairs to large-scale additions or renovations.
Insurance Board (IB)
The Insurance Board is a nonprofit corporation that administers a property and liability insurance program serving churches and related entities within the UCC, Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and Presbyterian Church (USA). The Board writes property and liability insurance in all 50 states. The Insurance Board also provides valuable information on developing a Safe Church policy.
Pension Boards (PB)
The Pension Boards administer benefit programs for the active and retired clergy and lay employees of the UCC. This site describes their services and also provides tax information relevant to churches, clergy and lay employees.
United Church Funds (UCF)
United Church Funds offers a family of nine professionally managed and socially responsible investment funds to over 1,000 churches, conferences, associations and other ministries of the UCC. The site also provides regular updates on the performance of these funds.

The UCC national setting provides a wide array of resources to support stewardship in the local church. Resources include best practices, sample materials from successful stewardship campaigns and a Bible Study focusing on abundance and generosity.

The Insurance Board provides a rich resource of documents and links on a wide range of church management and risk control topics.
Making Our Churches Safe
On this site are a downloadable copy of the Safebook, sample disclosure forms, and a Sample Policy to help churches develop a safe church policy appropriate to their own needs.
Local Church Planning Giving Manual
This manual is designed to aid pastors and lay leaders in developing a congregational Planned Giving ministry. It includes sections devoted to establishing and promoting a Planned Giving program, congregational endowments, wills emphasis, how life-income gifts work, and more.

The mission of the Parish Resource Center is to strengthen congregations of all religious faiths by helping them train, coach and equip their members – lay and clergy – for service and leadership. Feed The Pig
This site was created by the American Institute of CPAs, in conjunction with The Advertising Council, to encourage and help Americans ages 25 to 34 to take control of their personal finances.
Morningstar focuses on investments, but also includes tools like the 30-minute money solutions worksheets which help you tackle things like setting up a budget and setting your in-retirement portfolio-withdrawal rate.
As its name implies, this Wall Street Journal site “watches the market”. It also includes sections on personal finance and retirement.
Nolo – Free Legal Guidance
Nolo describes its vision as “publishing reliable, plain English legal information that anyone can use”. Its online information is free.
