Registrar's Report Spring 2005


I give all glory and honor to God for the strength and wisdom to continue to serve the Metro Association as the Registrar.

The Ordination and Ministerial Standing Committee (OMSC) interviewed the following persons for various statuses in the Metro Association since the Fall meeting on November 6 th, 2004.


Privilege of Call

1. Rev. Dr. Alan Bentz-Letts ( Evangelical Lutheran Church in America)
2. Rev. John Schwartz. (The United Methodist Church)


Ecclesiastical Council

1. Ms. Gular H. Glover, approved on 03/10/2005 for Ordination on April 10 th at St. Albans Congregational Church, St. Albans Queens.

2. Ms. Jennifer Glover: OMSC recommended her for Ecclesiastical Council to be held on April 7 th at Broadway United Church of Christ, Manhattan ; upon its approval the Ordination will be held on Saturday, April 23 rd , at 2:00 P.M. at Broadway United Church of Christ, Manhattan.


Installation

1. Rev. Dr. John Barrett (Pastor of West Center Congregational Church, Bronxville, Westchester)


Licensure for Ministry (Renewed)

1. Mrs. Gloria Nixon Pone (The South Hempstead Congregational Church)


In-Care

1. Mr. Matthew Fox – Reinstated ( All Souls Bethlehem Church, Brooklyn)
2. Mr. David Fraccaro (The Riverside Church , Manhattan)
3. Ms. Edith Beaujon (The Riverside Church , Manhattan)


We have 30 candidates In-Care of our Association, and we have processed one request for transfer of ordained ministerial standing to our Association for Rev. Lynne Mikulak from the New Haven Association, Connecticut Conference.
