Christian Education Team Annual Report 2004 - 2005

The Christian Education Committee has not met recently due to adverse weather conditions and the inability of some of the members to coordinate their schedules. The committee is composed of persons appointed by the Metropolitan Association's Board of Directors and the New York Conference Partners in Education. There are three partners in the Metropolitan Association available to facilitate workshops on religious education, curriculum selection and use for church school and related programs.

We are hoping to have more contact from the local churches with ideas and needs for their Christian Education departments.

Last year we were able to plan an event at the Parish Life Center in Elmont . Unfortunately, not many people were available to attend. We are available to serve the Association. If your church needs assistance with curriculum planning and implementation, please contact us through the Association office with your specific needs.

The partners were trained by the Conference and are supported by OCWM dollars. The three partners in the Metropolitan Association are: Deborah Dee Brayton, Sylvia White and Felicia J. Walker-Wilson along with other members from the Association.
